The clock sound preferences now stay checked/unchecked as you choose.
Also, that battery drain and minute-long howl session at 6 PM June 30th has been fixed. Turns out, they were related. Apparently, I had coded the app to cycle seconds, minutes, hours, and days, but not months! So yesterday at 6PM the app thought it should update itself (i.e. switch from the night mode to the day mode) at 6AM...July FIRST! Then the phone would get this alert "Hey, update that widget!" and it would do the same thing, over and over. At 6:01 PM, the sound would stop, but the app would keep refreshing in the background.
Such a simple bug - took me hours to find it. >_<

On my galaxy s the clock won't make the sound at six o' clock, or the sun moon won't change
Hmm... I've gotten this report from a couple of people, but I can't seem to find any common thread among them. What is your version of Android?
2.2
Interesting. That's actually the OS toward which this widget is geared.
I'll add it to the list of devices needing support.
Ever sense the recent update the clock changes at six and makes the sound. Thank you for adressing this problem
Awesome! Thanks for letting me know. :)
Samsung galaxy S froyo from movistar company.Works fine but when I touch the widget it does nothing. Also I must see if sound works. It makes noise only at 6?works with device on standby?
I've had another person tell me that nothing happens when you tap the widget. I'll look into this.
As for the sound, I assume that's 6:00 (i.e. 6AM) when it plays? I just want to be clear.
And by stand by, you mean when the screen is locked?
Thanks for the report!
If you have an app killer make sure to have it not kill the clock widget, then it should work fine
Hi and thanks it displays settings when I touch it now. About sound I didn't used it yet and for that I asked when it had to do the sound. Also I meant if makes sound when it's locked, sorry about standby, english is not my language. Sgs froyo.
Oh okay. The sounds play at 6 am and 6 pm (6:00 and 18:00), when the dial changes to day/night.
And, yes, the sounds will play when the screen is locked on most devices.
It doesn't kerchunk, and I have my media sound turned up.
It will not kerchunk at all and when it did kerchunk it would not stop
PLEEEEEEEEASE leave your bug report with your OS Version (e.g. Froyo 2.1, Gingerbread 2.3 etc.) and phone model. It's so much easier to diagnose when I have this.

Its way to hard to read
